By providing high-fidelity screen recordings and annotations from authentic software environments, you’ll help bridge the gap between current AI capabilities and real-world professional software usage. This work supports cutting-edge research and development in AI, with your contributions playing a pivotal role in refining machine learning models. As a remote, hourly contract position, it offers flexibility while delivering tangible impact to a high-priority project.
Core Responsibilities
- Operate advanced professional software tools to demonstrate domain-specific workflows through screen recordings
- Provide clear, step-by-step verbal narration during recordings to contextualize actions for AI training purposes
- Annotate screenshots by precisely marking UI elements with bounding boxes to highlight critical interface components
- Configure and prepare software environments according to detailed staging instructions before capturing workflows
- Leverage specialized capture tools to ensure recordings and annotations meet strict quality and consistency standards
Required Expertise
- Proficiency with professional CAD and engineering tools such as AutoCAD Mechanical, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Vivado
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow nuanced instructions for data collection tasks
- Strong time-management skills to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Access to a physical Mac system and willingness to create a new macOS user profile for project isolation
- Prior exposure to data annotation, quality assurance, or workflow documentation is advantageous
Project & Compensation
- Contribute to a high-priority initiative focused on improving AI comprehension of professional software interfaces
- Engage in tasks that include screen recording and annotation for AI training datasets
- Receive $100 per hour with weekly payments processed via Stripe or Wise based on completed work
- Enjoy a fully remote, flexible schedule with project durations subject to change based on evolving needs
