Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated, production-grade Python systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
  • Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python frameworks like FastAPI and Pydantic
  • Optimize Python performance through advanced techniques such as profiling, memory management, and async/await
  • Implement type hints, dependency injection, and unit/integration testing to uphold code quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into real-world AI workflows

Required Expertise

  • Prior experience at top-tier U.S. technology companies
  • Expertise in building and scaling Python applications beyond scripts or notebooks
  • Deep knowledge of Python internals, including decorators, generators, and context managers
  • Proficiency with Python tooling and best practices (e.g., FastAPI, Pydantic, type hints)
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in complex technical environments

Project & Compensation

  • Flexible remote role requiring ~20 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of 1 month
  • Opportunity to extend or conclude the project based on evolving needs and performance
  • Competitive hourly rate of $100, adjusted for experience and qualifications
  • Weekly payments processed via Stripe or Wise upon verified work completion
