Core Responsibilities
- Evaluate Office.js scripts produced by large language models (LLMs) and Excel’s “Record Actions” functionality
- Adjust scripts to guarantee compatibility with Excel and precision in results
- Verify script effectiveness by comparing generated .xlsx files against expert-crafted benchmarks
- Work collaboratively with prompt engineers and spreadsheet specialists to finalize datasets
- Offer precise corrections to bolster code dependability for AI training applications
Required Expertise
- Expert-level knowledge of Office.js and JavaScript, with a focus on Excel add-ins and automation
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in software development
- Hands-on experience with Excel APIs and spreadsheet automation tools
- Strong debugging and script validation abilities
- Capacity to interpret natural language instructions and convert them into accurate spreadsheet logic
Project & Compensation
- Expected time commitment: approximately 10–25 hours per week
- Project duration: around 1 month, with potential for extension based on performance
- Hourly rate: $80
- Payments processed weekly via Stripe or Wise
